2007 was a refreshing year in website hosting. Many trends proved to indicate a more stable web hosting industry with some acquisitions and mergers happening to the benefit of web hosting customers. Consumer influences also helped to stimulate many companies to focus on their responsibilities toward increased customer satisfaction.
Web Hosting customer feedback this year was great, not only in terms of volume (we had the most review submissions ever) but the reviews coming in were very positive in terms of consumer’ experience, especially with the ease of use and the software sophistication now available to the not quite “experienced” webmaster. More and more people now feel more confident in their own abilities to use the products on the market and to do so with limited help other than following the demo or FAQ guidelines.
Overall 2007 was a great year in Web Site Hosting.
